Congratulations to our PhD students who presented their exceptional research at this year’s Hudson Institute/SCS Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition final on Wednesday, 4 July.

The Three Minute Thesis (3MT™) is a national research communication competition that celebrates exciting research conducted by PhD research students. Students have three minutes to present a compelling oration on their thesis and its significance. 3MT challenges students to consolidate their ideas and research discoveries so they can be presented concisely to a non-scientific audience.

PhD student, Aidan Kashyap placed first in the senior category with his presentation on research into new treatments for congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) in babies and will proceed to the Monash University Faculty final on Thursday, 12 July.
