Project description

We still do not know why some women suffer from endometriosis and why it runs in some families. The clue could be in the uterine fluid.

This project will investigate the antimicrobial peptides in uterine fluid and tissues from different stages of the menstrual cycle in women with and without endometriosis.

Techniques: Protein assays- ELISA, Western Blotting, Immunofluorescence staining, FISH.

This project will lead to a larger project.
