Functional Annotation of the tumour variants of unknown significance
Project description
The Functional Annotation of Tumor Variants of Unknown Significance (VUS) using CRISPR project aims to elucidate the functional significance of genetic mutations found in tumors, particularly those categorized as variants of unknown significance. These variants pose a challenge in clinical decision-making due to limited understanding of their impact on tumor biology and response to treatment. By leveraging the precision of CRISPR gene editing technology, this project seeks to uncover the functional consequences of these variants identified in the cancer cell line models of Children cancer model atlas, providing valuable insights into their role in tumorigenesis and potential therapeutic implications.
