Inner Wheel ladies discover MIMR-PHI’s cutting edge cord blood research
By Hudson Institute communications
MIMR-PHI Institute has hosted a group of Inner Wheel members keen to learn more about The Ritchie Centre’s cord blood research which was made possible through their generous funding.
As well as a tour of the state-of-the-art facilities, Professor Graham Jenkin and members of his Cell Therapy and Regenerative Medicine Group provided the visitors with an overview of their vital cord blood research aimed at developing novel organ and tissue regeneration models, and treating respiratory distress and abnormal neurological development in premature and birth asphyxia-affected infants.
Members of India’s Inner Wheel community will join their Australian counter-parts and researchers from The Ritchie Centre at the upcoming Inner Wheel Annual Meeting in South Australia in October.
