What is your research about and what do you hope to achieve?
My research at Hudson Institute within the Paediatric Precision Medicine Program as a Masters student will involve elucidating the underlying mechanisms behind rare paediatric brain cancers. The aim of this research is to develop novel and tailored therapeutic solutions for individual patients by repurposing existing drugs.
What is it like being a student at Hudson Institute?
My experience at Hudson Institute as a student thus far has been stellar. The tightly knit research group has fostered a friendly and welcoming environment that has smoothed my transition from the classroom to the lab.
How will your research help others?
It is hoped that the research conducted within the Paediatric Precision Medicine Program here at Hudson Institute will address this clinically unmet need and greatly improve patient outcomes, as they still remain poor.
