Biography

Tamblyn Thomason is a research assistant in the Microbiota and Systems Biology Laboratory within the Centre for Innate Immunity and Infectious Diseases. Tamblyn completed her honours in molecular genetics at Monash University with A/Prof Sureshkumar Balasubramanian investigating epigenetic mechanisms underlying triplet repeat expansions.

In 2018, Tamblyn joined the Microbiota and Systems Biology Laboratory. She is involved in a number of projects ranging from characterising the Australian microbiome to gastrointestinal bacterial transmission.
