Hudson Institute of Medical Research brings leading scientists, clinicians and graduate students together from around the globe to collaborate to improve human health. Our 450 researchers work in the areas of inflammation, cancer, reproductive health, newborn health, and hormones and health. We value excellence, innovation, partnerships and community.

Student Open Day – Tuesday, 19 August 2025 (for 2026 entry)

Held jointly with the Sub-Faculty of Clinical and Molecular Medicine (SF-CaMM), Monash University.

Date: Tuesday, 19 August 2024
Time: 5-7pm (refreshments provided from 5pm)
Location: Auditorium (Level 4), Green Chemical Futures Building, 13 Rainforest Walk, Monash Clayton Campus

During the session, attendees will have the opportunity to:

  • Learn about the structure and benefits of our Honours and HDR courses
  • Hear from current students and academics
  • Gain insights into the application process and key deadlines
  • Ask questions

Contact supervisors anytime

Students are encouraged to contact and arrange a visit to supervisors in their labs to discuss projects.

STEP 1  |  Find a project you are interested in. You can simply search by keywords, supervisor, research centre in our Student Project Database i.e cancer, inflammation.

STEP 2  |  Once you have identified a project, email the supervisor: “I am interested in your student project. Could I please arrange a time to chat?”
